We were excited at the creativity of the students in creating future cities of their understanding bearing in mind features which include green technology, recyclables, waste disposal and environmental friendly motions.
Students ranging from key stage 1 to 4 participated and exhibited ideas and imaginations of their ideals.
It was refreshing to see them use recycled cardboards, plastic, bottles, and left overs to make a dream city.
Judges questioned them on their reasons and rationale behind their construction of the cities and were amazed by their answers. Even 6 and 7 years old could defend their ideas.
We hope that learning takes place in the form of collaboration, cooperation and cohesive planning so that a commendable end product will reflect scaffolding and achievement.
Kudos, boys and girls.
