Today the students launched an opening for the English Week.
Year 10 students had us in stitches with their queer and uncommon vocabulary and challenged their friends to a mind boggling spelling bee time. Ivanka and Hui, the unseparable duo staged the session.
Audrey Siew and her love for poems recited “I Wonder” and gave her input on why she loves poems. We hope many will be inspired by her suggestion and passion.
Year 11 stood up with reasons on why they would miss school in the days to come. Joshua Ngow recalled his playing the ukulele on stage and reminisces on his feelings. The outstation trip to Batu Pahat a few years ago is forever etched in his memory.
Samatha Seow related her initial rejection of the school but later found it to be her nest of hope and friendship. She particularly loves her Maths teacher, Madam Loy for that care and love.
Jun Yuan recalled his year 7 experience and cannot forget the fun and friendship kindled.
Finally, year 6 came up with a debating effort with the many whys , yes and no. Listen to their expression and views and you will agree that they have grown up!
