Students showcase their abilities in the form of dance, art, and calligraphy in celebration of the Lunar New Year. Gong Xi Fa Cai!
Gua Tempurung Trip – 16th of March
Primary and secondary students gained some insight into the life of a spelunker as they immersed themselves inside one of the largest limestone cave in Malaysia. It was a damp, sublime experience!
Maths & Science Week – 2ndto 6th of April
Students participated in various Maths related riddles and performed stimulating science experiments throughout this week of exploring the fun side of mathematics and ever fascinating world of science!
Combined Sports Day – 12th of April
Secondary students from Eagles Grammar International School and Heritage Learning Centre meet for their annual ‘battle’ on the tracks. We had the pleasure of using the well-equipped Stadium Shah Alam this year, as Eagles soared high to emerge as the sports champion for the very first time! Go Eagles!
Eagles Sports Day – 23rd of April
Year 2018 has been the birth of many firsts thus far. Speaking of which, Eagles Inaugural Sports Day was held on the 23rd of April 2018 at the mini stadium of SMK USJ 23. Primary and secondary students from three respective sports house gathered together on this sunny morning to contest for the ultimate prize – the coveted House Champions title (and trophy of course). The Wyverns (Blue House), Phoenixes (Red House), and Chimeras (Green House) competed in many track events such as the popular 100m, 200m, and even 4×400 relays in addition to the tele-match style games for the primary students. Each house threw everything they have got and fought till the last drop of sweat, but only the mighty Wyverns rose above it all to come out as victors. Congratulations, Wyverns!
Combined Sports Carnival – 10thand 11th of July 2018
Secondary students from both Eagles Grammar International School and Heritage Learning Centre gathered together once more to settle the score in court! Heritage played host to the many court games that were played in a 2-day period, such as basketball, futsal, handball, captain-ball, and badminton. Heritage dug deep and secured many wins in multiple events as Eagles fought tooth and nail in a desperate attempt to equal them. The verdict – Heritage were crowned king of the courts; winning in almost every event by big and small margins, with Eagles only staging an upset in a lower secondary basketball event.However, Eagles still managed to replicate their amazing form in badminton as in previous meetings to perform a clean sweep as consolation.Overall, it was a great experience for the students!
Sunway University Visitation – 20th July
Secondary students went for a campus visit at Sunway University where they were given a touron their state of art facilitiesby the friendly student ambassadors. Students were also given the privilege to attend a workshop of their choice – art or coding. It was truly an eye-opener for the students.
Malacca Field Trip – 20th July
While the secondary students paid a learning visit to Sunway University, the primary students took a one-day excursion to explore the historical city in the heart of Malacca. Apart from visiting the famous historical sites like the Stadthuysand the ruins of A Famosaamong others, they certainly did not let up the opportunity to savour the exquisite chicken rice balls. Moreover, they also toured the MAMEE factory where they attended a cup noodle-making workshop before making their very own cup noodles!
